Martijn Stammes

Martijn Stammes specialises in family and inheritance law and started as an attorney in the district of Haarlem. He now works as an attorney and mediator in his hometown of Amsterdam. He advises, litigates and mediates. In January 2014 he passed the examination of the first specialised course of Inheritance Law in the Netherlands. He is therefore a recognised expert on both inheritance and family law and registered as such with the Association of Family Lawyers and Divorce Mediators (vFAS). You can contact him for both family law issues, like a divorce, as well as issues of inheritance.

As an attorney Martijn has been active since 2006.

Martijn also works as a judge at the 's-Hertogenbosch Court of Appeal. He brings this knowledge and skills on the other side of the table in the courtroom into his advice for clients and the legal proceedings he conducts for his clients.

His membership and (former) administrative activities include:

• vFAS (Association of Family Lawyers and Divorce Mediators);
• VEAN (Association of Inheritance Lawyers of the Netherlands);
• Judge (Raadsheer-plaatsvervanger) at the Court of Appeal 's-Hertogenbosch;
• the Disciplinary Committee (lawyer) of the Stichting Kwaliteitsregister Jeugd (SKJ).
